Clean Eating Dog Food

Anze and Abby were so excited to try their homemade clean eating dog food.  Their clean eating dog food consisted of boneless skinless chicken breast (plain), slices of carrots and chopped up pieces of green beans cooked in a pan on the stove.  Anze who is a doxiepin (dachshund & miniature pinscher mix) and Abby who is a patterdale terrier are trying to maintain their health and eat clean with no extra preservatives or empty carbohydrates and calories.  Some pet stores sell raw dog food or different types of organic live dog food, but Anze and Abby's parents like to keep their clean eating dog food simple.  It's food that even their parents would want to eat.  Stay tuned for more clean eating dog food recipes.

While Anze and Abby were busy eating their clean dog food dinner, Anze's Mommy and Daddy were cooking their own clean eating food for themselves.  Anze's Mommy was so excited to get a garlic roaster for Christmas and wanted to try it out. The garlic came out AMAZING! It was like garlic spread that melted in your mouth! This was the best gift ever! Thank you to Anze and Abby's Grandma and Grandpa.

Dog Money Holder

Who needs a wallet when you have a dog money holder? Anze makes a good dog money holder!  This was the perfect picture because Anze's Daddy was counting money when Anze came up and was reaching on his leg and wanted to get picked up.  When his Daddy picked him up he wanted to see what he was doing and he curled his feet upward.  Daddy thought it was funny that Anze looked like a dog money holder and put the money he was counting on Anze's feet.  Anze balanced the money on his feet so well, and for so long! I think Anze wasn't trying to be a dog money holder, but yet he wanted to keep the money for himself!! This little doxiepin dog makes such a cute dog money holder! Everyone should own one! (lol)

3rd Time Seeing Santa

This year, 2014, it was Anze's 3rd time seeing Santa and Abby's 2nd time seeing Santa. Anze was so excited as this was his 3rd time seeing Santa and he was ready to take his holiday photo. He was so excited and yipping while he was waiting in line.  Abby and and Anze had matching outfits again, however this year their Mommy got Abby a dress and Anze had the matching shirt. This Santa wasn't the best looking Santa (like the one they had from the year before), but he made it work.  As this was Anze's 3rd time seeing Santa, he seemed a little distracted and felt that he was "too cool" to pose and look directly at the camera. He was being such a little stinker and refused to cooperate.  Abby on the other hand was being such a good little girl, but she has the same facial expression ("deer in the headlights") and doesn't react or pose for pictures.  You won't see any head tilts or cute smiles from Abby.  At any rate, the annual holiday Santa photo was complete!  Abby and Anze wish all their friends and followers a Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!! Cheers to 2015!!

2nd Time Seeing Santa

Last year was Anze's 2nd time seeing Santa. It was a special time because not only was it Anze's 2nd time seeing Santa, but he got to see Santa with his sister Abby and it was Abby's 1st time seeing Santa. This Santa was the "real deal" for all the Santas out there. These two little dogs were so excited to see Santa. As this was Anze's 2nd time and Abby's 1st time seeing Santa, their Mommy decided to dress them up in matching scarves and bow ties.  Anze and Abby got their matching scarves and bow ties as holiday gifts from the "Min Pin Party" that they went to that weekend! It was a fun-filled weekend and Anze and Abby had so much fun.  Too bad Abby's black coat didn't turn out so well in the picture. You can barely see her face. But she is there.  This was the best holiday photo to send for their family Christmas cards. This little doxiepin dog and this little patterdale dog were so festive and have officially started a family tradition of the dogs seeing Santa.

Gray Dog Hoodie

Here is a picture of Anze in his gray dog hoodie.  Anze was so excited to wear his gray dog hoodie because it was made out of 100% cotton and was so soft and warm.  He was also excited because his Mommy was wearing a matching gray hoodie she got when she went to Oregon.  Anze and his Mommy were matching in gray hoodies.  Anze's Mommy bought this little gray dog hoodie online and it had a pocket near Anze's booty.  It was a size small and was a little too big on him (because he's a doxiepin), but Anze didn't mind. He knows that dog hoodies are meant to be loose and baggy.  Anze would definitely recommend any dog getting a gray dog hoodie for the fall/winter season!

Camo the Doxiepin

Camo the doxiepin is the cutest little doxiepin pup.  Camo is only 7 weeks old and is such a heart melter.  Right now Camo is very playful and he likes to sleep a lot.  This little doxiepin has started to find his voice.  He can be very vocal when he gets sad when his Mommy has to leave to go to work.
Anze used to be a little guy just like Camo and was too cute for words. Camo hasn't grown into his doxiepin snout yet and has tiny little floppy ears.  This is a cute picture of him outside getting some fresh air. Camo has the same facial markings like Anze when he was a baby.  Camo is such an adorable doxiepin pup!

Gio the Doxiepin

Gio the doxiepin is such handsome doxiepin dog.  Gio is 2.5 years old and he is the most loyal, loving dog that his owners could have ever been blessed with.  Gio the doxiepin dog is a very lucky dog as he gets to travel with his owners wherever they go on work trips and vacations.  Gio has been to Miami, San Diego, Washington D.C., San Francisco, Austin, Mexico and St. Thomas Virgin Islands.  This little doxiepin rarely barks and often gives kisses.  Gio's owners love the doxiepin breed and Anze's Mommy and Daddy couldn't agree more.  Anze is so envious of Gio as Gio gets to travel all over the world and see and smell all the new and exciting places with his owners. Here is a nice picture of Gio sunbathing on top of the table. Such a spoiled lucky dog!

Suede the Doxiepin

Suede the doxiepin is a beautiful 6 month old male dog.  He is a doxiepin which means that he is half dachshund and miniature pinscher mix.  Suede loves to give kisses and chew on all his Mommy's plants.  He is very loving and prefers to have company than to be left alone.  Suede is very timid if he is shouted at (for chewing Mommy's plants).  Suede is the best friend to his Mommy's 5 year old child and loves to play with his other siblings which are 3 cats and 2 tortoises.  He loves blankets and duvets.  Laying in them are like heaven.  Suede is playful, energetic and is the lead and in charge when they take walks.  Suede walks Mommy rather than Mommy walking Suede.  This little doxiepin is very determined and can be stubborn. Suede is also a fast learner as he learned how to jump on the couch for cuddles after being in his new home for only 3 weeks.  Suede the doxiepin is his Mommy's little baby and treasure.  Suede has the cutest black nose and pointed ears. He has very similar traits to Anze and the same personality traits. Anze and Suede would get along great!!

Dog Mother's Day

Anze and Abby loved celebrating their dog Mother's Day with their Mommy.  Their Mommy was surprised with dog Mother's Day flowers and gifts and love. Anze and Abby's Mommy and Daddy celebrated this Mother's Day by having the entire family over at their house for Mother's Day brunch (so that the dogs could be included).  Anze and Abby's Daddy made homemade tri-tip sliders, homemade crab cakes, salad, potatoes, clam dip, fruit, cheeses, everything and anything you could imagine he made. He is one mighty chef! Having a dog Mother's Day was so special because even though they aren't human babies, Anze and Abby are still their Mommy and Daddy's fur babies!  Abby (doxador) is now 10 months old and Anze (doxiepin) is almost 2 years old! The fur babies are growing up so fast!

Doxiepin Graduates Intermediate Dog Training

Anze the doxiepin graduates intermediate dog training.  Anze completed and proudfully graduated from  Petsmart's intermediate dog training.  This is a little late posting, but Anze's Mommy just found his graduation pictures.  This class was a bit distracting for Anze as he graduated puppy obedience training in November 2012 and was then enrolled into the intermediate class (recommended by his trainer Heather - she's the best!).  However, Anze was nervous about being around bigger dogs, (especially since he was attacked by a german shepard when he was on a walk with his Mommy and Daddy) and there were a lot of bigger dogs in his intermediate class.  It was a different environment than what he was comfortable in with his puppy class.

Anze graduated his intermediate class in February 2013.  Although he seemed to be distracted, it really helped him get over his fears of bigger dogs and helped his socializing skills.

Here are some pictures of this little doxiepin's graduation from his intermediate dog training course:

Anze is one smart happy little doxiepin dog!  Thank you Heather for the best training ever!

Doxador Dressed Up In Burberry

Here is Abby the doxador dressed up in Burberry.  This little doxador dog dressed up in her Mommy's Burberry scarf and Burberry jacket. Abby's Mommy thought she looked so cute all bundled up while getting her dog hair all over.  Abby's Mommy thinks she looks so cute and the colors look so good on her, Abby may be getting her very own Burberry dog outfit in the near future.  This little doxador puppy is s smart fashionable pup!

Dog Suit Coat Tails

Check out Anze's new dog suit coat tails.  This little doxiepin looks so sharp in his new dog suit coat tails.  Anze is wearing a size medium and the dog suit has velcro straps around his neck and mid stomach.  The black buttons on the gray dog suit coat tails are just for looks and design.  Anze the doxiepin looked so handsome and formal.

New Black and White Dog Scarf

Abby the doxador got a new black and white dog scarf.  The new black and white dog scarf had a floral print with a pink flower bow in the front middle.  This little doxador dog looks so cute and fashionable, yet doesn't always like to dress up like her brother.  This new black and white dog scarf is a size small and bought from Petco.  Abby also isn't as photogenic and does not pose like her brother Anze.  Abby's black and white dog scarf was so cute and is perfect to bring in the spring season.  Her new scarf looks good against her black dark coat. The pink flower bow is pink just like her collar.

Abby and Anze's Mommy feels a little bad because she hasn't posted much of Abby and it's all about Anze (even though this is Anze the doxiepin's website).  I guess it's true, its a lot of work having two children (aka furbabies, including dogs) and the second child (Abby) sometimes doesn't get as much effort as the first (Anze).  As we've been getting a lot of requests for pictures of Abby, Abby and Anze's Mommy will be sure to start posting more of the little doxiepin and doxador pair.

Cocoa The Doxiepin

Cocoa the doxiepin is one of Anze and Abby's new friends.  Cocoa is a female doxiepin and is 5 months old.  Cocoa is so cute and has a dark face.  She is still developing her personality.  This little doxiepin dog LOVES to eat, sleep and play with her toys.  Cocoa also like to chew on her bones and get into mischief and trouble.  Cocoa the doxiepin is a huge lover and likes to cuddle a lot. Her parents have said that she has already been classified as an escape artist from her crate many times. - Which is funny because Anze is a huge lover and loves to cuddle.  He has separation anxiety issues and would not crate train, however, he is an escape artist from his harness and that is why we have had to buy him a Rogz harness so he can't escape.

Cocoa is so cute with little floppy ears and dark features. She is a beautiful doxiepin dog.

Gemma The Doxiepin

Anze and Abby are so happy to have a new friend Gemma the doxiepin.  Gemma the doxiepin is still a baby puppy.  Gemma is only six weeks old and is a girl.  She is so adorable!  Her mommy Rose is a miniature pinscher and her daddy Rex is a dachshund ("doxie").  Her human parents say that this little doxiepin is the best and worst of both of her parents and love her to death.  Gemma the doxiepin has been a great new addition to her family of now four.  Here is a picture of Gemma.

We are so happy Gemma shared her picture with us. Her floppy ears, brown eyes and little button nose melt our hearts!! We can't wait to see more of Gemma!

Maxy The Chihuahua

This is Anze and Abby's new friend Maxy the chihuahua.  Maxy the chihuahua is a beautiful chihuahua dog.  Maxy has beautiful black, dark brown, tan and white colors.  Maxy is 14 years old and he loves to beg for snacks and bask in the sun. He loves spending time with his Mommy.

Anze (the doxiepin) and Abby (the doxador) like Maxy so much! They couldn't wait for their Mommy to upload Maxy's information and add him as one of their friends. Yay for Maxy the chihuahua!!

Cauliflower Fried Rice

Anze's Mommy loves making her healthy cauliflower fried rice recipe.  This fried rice recipe is made out of cauliflower and has no rice in it at all.  If you are a fried rice lover and are looking for a healthier clean eating option, you should definitely try this cauliflower fried rice recipe. This recipe is pretty simple and easy to make.

Ingredients:
- 3 cups of blended raw cauliflower (use cheese grater or food processor)
- 2 eggs scrambled (or 4 egg whites)
- 1 cup of onion (chopped/diced)
- 1 cup of mixed frozen carrots and peas
- 3-4 cloves of garlic (minced)
- 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 tablespoon soy sauce

1ST STEP: blend/mix/chop/grate the raw cauliflower.

2ND STEP: In a large pan, heat the olive oil in a pan and add the garlic and onions.  Saute the garlic and onions until the onions become transparent and soft. (about 4-5 minutes)

3RD STEP: Add the frozen carrots and peas into the pan.  Cook until the carrots and peas become soft and water (from frozen ice) mostly evaporates. (4-5 minutes)

4TH STEP: Add the cauliflower, scrambled eggs and soy sauce and mix it all together and blend it together.  Cook on high heat. (10 minutes)

FINISHED!! Ta-da! Fried rice made out of cauliflower also known as cauliflower fried rice.
**You can also add other favorite vegetables and/or protein such as (chicken, tofu, shrimp, beef, broccoli, cabbage, bok choy, snow peas, etc.)

But it also tastes great plain!
Hope you enjoy!!

Vanilla Cinnamon Chia Seed Pudding

Anze's Mommy loves making her vanilla cinnamon chia seed pudding.  She loves her recipe for vanilla cinnamon chia seed pudding.  Sometimes she will substitute the vanilla and cinnamon for cocoa or carob, but her favorite is the vanilla cinnamon flavor of her chia seed pudding.  She typically eats this for breakfast.

Ingredients:
3 tablespoons of chia seeds
1 cup almond milk (Anze's Mommy uses the vanilla flavored)
1/2 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

Add and combine all the ingredients into a bowl.

Mix and stir all your ingredients together in the bowl.

Then place in the refrigerator to chill and thicken.
Usually Anze's Mommy leaves hers overnight so she can get a jelly-like pudding consistency.
Then when she is ready to eat her vanilla cinnamon chia seed pudding, she will take it out of the refrigerator and stir and mix it all together.  She also likes to add fruit to like blueberries or strawberries.

It may not look like the best, but it's absolutely delicious!
Anze's Mommy totally recommends this low calorie healthy vanilla cinnamon chia seed pudding recipe!
Anze the doxiepin definitely approves!
